What you will do
- Welcome customers, listen to their needs, and help them select products with confidence.
- Learn our merchandise, vendor offerings, pricing, warranties, and delivery options.
- Prepare accurate quotes and sales orders, process purchases, and follow up promptly.
- Respond to customer inquiries, including product questions received through Facebook.
- Check product availability and help maintain accurate inventory information, pricing, and merchandise tags.
- Arrange attractive displays and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Coordinate delivery and setup details, inspect merchandise before delivery, and assist with customer visits or deliveries when needed.
- Work with teammates to resolve customer concerns and meet store sales goals.
Required qualifications
- At least one year of retail sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail, dependability, and a cooperative approach to working with others.
- Availability to work Saturdays according to the store schedule and flexibility to accommodate business needs.
Preferred qualification
Experience with Shopify is a plus.
About the role
This is an in-person showroom position in McAllen. The role includes customer service, sales, order follow-up, merchandising, and occasional visits to customer locations. Eligible work-related mileage is reimbursed according to store procedures. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
